The Denim Wrap Dress

. September 07, 2017 .
I think it's pretty safe to say it's been the summer of the wrap dress – I think we've all succumbed to the trend in one way or another this season. I myself am building a solid little collection of them and you could say it's becoming a bit of an addiction. So, reluctant as ever to start thinking about autumn, this post is an ode to a special wrap dress I became pretty obsessed with on a recent trip to south western France.

Part of DP's new season denim collection, this lovely mid-wash number is a perfect way to carry this summer's dress trend into autumn. 100% cotton denim, it's a bit heavier and more durable than your typical summer wrap dress – great now temperatures have started to drop a bit. And though it's a weightier fabric, the romantic ruffled hem and floaty sleeve details ensure it still has those flirty vibes you want in a pretty wrap dress.

I've styled it alone here (it was 30+ degrees when I shot these!), but I'll be teaming it with a leather biker jacket and some ankle boots come autumn – I think it could even look gorgeous over a fine roll neck knit too. But for now, I hope to get a couple more wears out of it without layering up on my upcoming trip to Provence with my family this weekend!
