The Ultimate Spa & Dining Experience with Kayumanis | Bali #2

. April 19, 2017 .
In today's post, let me whisk you away to one of the most serene and relaxing days of our trip to Bali at the Kayumanis Jimbaran Resort. Between our move from Uluwatu to Seminyak, we stopped here for an afternoon of pure indulgence to experience Kayumanis' gorgeous restaurant and spa.

As you walk in, you're greeted by spacious grounds dotted sky-scraping palm trees – it's own little paradise haven amongst the bustling surrounding Jimbaran/ Kuta areas. We started off at their restaurant Kayumanis Resto for lunch, situated in a tropical garden within the resort surrounded by beautiful greenery, flowers and water features. It was here we first noticed the amazing attention to detail Kayumanis has – from incense burning in the corner to immaculate menus and service, it couldn't have been more perfect.

We were spoilt with a delicious three-course lunch and as you can see, the food looked just as impressive as it tasted! A blend of traditional Indonesian food with modern elements, it was easily one of the best meals of the whole trip. My tuna was just something out of this world, and Alice the duck was amazing too. Safe to stay we were suitably stuffed after our mains but of course, just had to make some room for dessert – I couldn't tell you what they were, but look how pretty!

After the second round of cocktails, it was time to make our way down to the Kayumanis Jimbaran Spa for a heavenly two-hour experience. Greeted with some welcome drinks (yep, more food) we were introduced to our wonderful therapists who talked us through our treatments.

We had the chance to experience the relaxing ritual package, meaning we could indulge in an aromatherapy foot bath, full body massage, scrub, yoghurt mask and flower bath all in one divine sitting. The massage was like nothing I've ever experienced, one thing I love about travelling is getting to experience the different techniques and therapies they use. My therapist was super skilled and had no problem sorting out the knots in my back whilst performing the most relaxing massage treatment.

With silky smooth skin after the scrub and yoghurt mask, it was time for our beautiful flower bath in our own little private courtyard of the spa. Of course, Alice and I were in fits of giggles at this point at how romantic everything was – it was like we were on a honeymoon! But of course, that didn't stop us taking full advantage of it, I could have easily floated in that rose petal bath four hours. Safe to say we were in a crazy relaxed state afterwards as we enjoyed our complimentary ginger tea and biscuits.

I honestly can't recommend Kayumanis enough for its beautiful location, impeccable service and overall wonderful experience. They also have locations in Ubud, Sanur and Nusa Dua so I hope when I return to Bali I get the chance to stay a little longer! Special thanks to Stephanie and the rest of the Kayumanis team for making our experience so special. Visit their website here.
