Holland Park

Effortless Off-The-Shoulder

. September 04, 2016 .

How long into September is it acceptable to wear a bardot dress? As much as I'm looking forward to the new season, I'm not yet ready to say adios to my favourite summer pieces. Whilst it's still warm enough, I'm getting all of the wear out of my statement sandals, skirts and floaty dresses and come October 1st, I'll bundle on the knitwear.

This dress is by a Dutch label I recently had the pleasure of discovering, Loavies. Their scandi-cool meets Parisian-romance vibes have made for some seriously desirable pieces. I'm obsessed with the simplicity of this feminine little bardot dress, I've worn it several times already and it's just become one of those easy, throw on wardrobe staples. For AW I've even been thinking about layering it over some black kick flares, but am of course yet to experiment with that! For this look, I styled it with my new favourite new flatform sandals and, on a rare occasion, accessorised the dress with a little lace detail from my bralet as they seemed to sit together wonderfully.

Shop the look: Loavies dress, Bimba y Lola sandals (high street alternative), Missoma fang neckalce, Pilgrim eye necklace & rings, Accessorize moon necklace
