How To Make The Bardot Transitional

. August 22, 2016 .

The Bardot blouse has been everyone's favourite this summer. Girly, flattering and easy to wear it's become a wardrobe staple that I'll continue to wear into autumn. As much as I love my beautiful embroidered and floaty ones there's a lot of sleeker, smarter styles hitting the rails that I can definitely get behind. There's off shoulder shirts in sharper cotton fabrics (like this one) and pinstripe prints that make the trend a bit more transitional and perfect for the upcoming new season.

This pinstripe number is still quite summery but the puckered pleated details along the neckline make it a little smarter and it's great for tucking into high waisted trousers and jeans. This embroidered pair of jeans are super seasonal so brings the look right up to date, and pairing it with my choker give it a little 90's vibe which I'm alllll about right now.

How would you style the bardot blouse for the upcoming season? Thanks for reading as always!
