Since falling in love with the Greek island of Mykonos last summer on a holiday with Dave, I knew it wouldn't be long before I was back. Flawless white cobbled streets, crystal clear waters of the Aegean sea and warm Grecian sun is the formula to perfect summer getaway. Add the luxury of Bill & Coo's Suites & Lounge into the mix and you're practically in paradise. From the infinity pools, spectacular views to the most delicious breakfasts the Bill & Coo way of life had me at hello.

A short 10 minute car-ride from the airport, the trip was a breeze from start to finish. We were picked up in the hotel's comfortable Mercedes minivan (that will also chauffer you around the island whenever you wish), where we were greeted with fresh cleansing towels to refresh ourselves after the flight – a first glimpse at the hotel's impeccable attention to detail.

Upon arrival I was instantly mesmerised by the breathtaking view. Nestled on a cliffside in Mykonos Bay, the suites and bar area have an unparalleled, panoramic view of the Aegean sea, just within view too, are the famous windmills in Mykonos town. Enjoying such scenery alongside welcome canapés and drinks was the perfect way to recover from an early start.

Our room was equally as beautiful, I expect you saw how excited I was on snapchat (lucia_grace), minimal, white and modern with hints of traditional Greek decor – basically my dream. I think the pictures pretty much do all the talking, but I will say the bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the bathroom details were just beautiful. Our balcony was a little sun-trap come afternoon, featuring the same beautiful view as the pool it completed our stunning suite perfectly.

Though we spent a lot of time shooting on the island and at the beaches, we definitely snuck in a few hours sunbathing by the pool – I mean, it honestly would have been rude not to. Shielded from the wind (it's typically pretty windy in Mykonos) it was the perfect spot to catch some rays.

As I mentioned, the service was incredible from the start and throughout the day at the pool, there are plenty of lovely staff on hand to make sure you're most comfortable. From continuously topping up a glass of fresh water to make sure you stay hydrated, to bringing you fresh towels and being on hand for cocktail orders. Another sweet touch were the selection of nibbles brought out during the day, mini jars of olives, nuts and wasabi peas made for the perfect poolside snacks. A special thanks to Harris for being ever so attentive and making us giggle during breakfast and at the pool!

Come evening time, the bar area is a wonderful place to have a pre-drink or even enjoy dinner as you enjoy the spectacular sunset over the sea. The pool is also filled with tiny lights around this time that mirror a starry night sky, as you can see from the photos, it's pretty stunning. A huge thank you to Bill & Coo for their hospitality and each of their wonderful staff for their faultless service making us feel so welcome during our stay – I'm already planning my next trip back!
