WEARING RIGHT NOW

If you've ever been lucky enough to visit Clevedon, you'll know what a quaint, quiet and charming little town it is. It's is a place I've visited for years with my family, I even interned at a magazine there back when I was living in Bristol. It's home to a tiny pebble beach and on that, sits this beautiful, Victorian pier. No rides, no arcades and no noise but the sound of gentle waves crashing beneath. It really is such a peaceful place and it's wooden benches make for a perfect spot to daydream. I'm also totally besotted with it's Victorian charm (am I the only one that prefers architecture from back then?) and it's carefully detailed decor.

After collapsing in the 70's, the pier reached out to the public for help in it's restoration and in return, their name would be engraved in a plaque on one of the planks of the pier. My mum and dad both donated, so on one of my final days in Bristol over Christmas we decided to venture down to the seaside and did our ritual of spotting their names on the pier before heading to Tiffin for some coffee and cake.

Battling a post-December food baby and clinging on to comfortable clothing before heading back to real life, I opted for this simple jumper and jeans combo, of course pairing them with my trusty Stan Smiths. This gorgeous detailed sweater was one of my favourite Christmas gifts, detailing on knitwear is always a stylish way of wrapping up. It's now just £23 in the sale and comes in cream and khaki as well - shop here.  Also for comfort, these £22 coated jeans by New Look are amazing, snug, stretchy and a hell of a lot more easy to get on than pleather/leather trousers.

Hope you enjoyed today's editorial and exploring a little corner of Clevedon with me. Shop my look below.
