I’d usually shy away from pinafore-type dresses, twee dresses aren't really me but this utility style khaki dress by French Connection is all kinds of awesome. Khaki can often look a little bland but I love the rich green palette this dress has, the subtle gold hardware adds that perfect bit of extra detail too. I paired it with a leather crop underneath for a ‘cut-out’ effect which I think looks really cool, who said blue and green should never be seen? Keeping it ladylike I paired this look with my favourite patent nude pumps by Daniel. I hope you enjoyed this look - though I've layered it over a crop here I can tell this dress is going to be a great transitional piece for me, I’m thinking a grey ribbed knit and some patent black ankle boots for the colder season.

The summer's not quite over yet - I'm not ready to see the end of it at least. One thing I love about the warmer season is experimenting with new beauty products. Be it a bright lip like these gorgeous Elizabeth Arden glosses or applying some of Nuxe's Golden Shimmer Oil along my décolletage when I'm wearing a strappy summer dress, summer is always a little bit more fun when it comes to beauty. There's been so many new products I've been loving over the passed couple of months so I've rounded up my absolute favourites for today's post.

Make-up wise I tend to stick to my signature eyeliner flick, I've been trying out Benefit's Push-Up Liner and it's the easiest gel-liner I've used so far, we all hate it when those flicks don't match up but this easy-to-use product will make your liner-life so much easier! In the summer I stick to warm shadows and bronzers to accentuate my tan, and of course a stroke of highlighter on my cheekbones and cupids bow. I took Elizabeth Arden's new collection to Mykonos and haven't stopped using it since. The bronzer comes in two shade's so you can match it to your skin tone perfectly - my favourite is the deep pearl. What's great is that there's a beautiful pink highlighter built right in which makes it perfect for holidays and travelling. The cream eyeshadow stylo's were also great for a quick and easy application on holiday, the shimmery tones perfect for making your eyes that little bit more special on a summery evening. Another product I've been obsessed with this season is the Elemis Total Glow Bronzing Body Lotion. This tanning product is so gorgeous, it doesn't smell like usual tanning lotions and really hydrates your skin too. It's been great for pro-longing my tan after returning from Greece and I'll continue to use it into Autumn.

Radley Portobello

A couple of weeks back myself and a few other lovely ladies were took to Notting Hill with Radley to discover their new Portobello Collection. Inspired by a polka-dot house just off Portobello Road, the new collection was designed to replicate the same element of surprise and happiness for the new season. So, to celebrate the joyful new bags, I spent the day with Radley getting a true Portobello experience. We started off devouring pastries and sipping some seriously-instagramable lattes at Gail’s Bakery, where we had the chance to get to know the Radley brand a little better and learn all about the new collection. Then, with (thankfully) full bellies, we wandered up Portobello road to the Portabello Star for a gin-filled afternoon at their Ginistitute. We spent the afternoon learning all about the interesting history of gin whilst sipping on a Tom Collins or two (or three), before heading upstairs to their own distillery. Here we learned how it was made and sampled all kinds of ingredients before creating our own special blend. If you’re partial to a G&T I’d 100% recommend this place, it was so much fun and a really unique experience if you’re looking for something new to do in London. Sunsets in Mykonos are pretty spectacular. These Images we shot on our last night on the island and it was the most gorgeous end to our holiday. We had dinner at an amazing restaurant with Kastro’s which I’ll tell you more about in my island guide. I saw a photo if it on Pinterest and knew immediately I had to book the exact seat I’d seen. We had a front row seat to the gorgeous red sun dancing on the edge of the Agean horizon - it really was unforgettable.

I’ve mentioned before that Mykonos is so windy, so though the temperatures were still in the high 20’s the wind kept me nice and cool in this long sleeve top. I paired it with this beautiful blue skirt from Reiss which has this lovey drape that reveals the silky underside. It’s such an elegant statement piece and I think it’ll be a great transitional skirt too, layered under a chunky grey knit is what I’m thinking. Wine Tasting in Mykonos

These photo's are making me miss Greece so much. Mykonos is probably my favourite island that I've visited yet and today I'm so happy to share with you one of the loveliest days we got to experience there. I'm no connoiseur, but lately I've been really getting into wine and learning which bottles and flavours I like and from where they're produced. So, when I discovered this Mykonian family-run vineyard online I knew Dave and I just had to go. For the visit I wore my favourite skirt by Reiss and a cool off the shoulder top with my Birkenstocks for a relaxed daytime look.

Located in the heart of Mykonos' countryside, the Vioma Vineyard is so quaint and picturesque. Upon arrival you have the chance to explore the grounds where you can stroll through the vinyeard itself or say hello to their many animals. Once seated on the pretty terrace we chose from the tasting menu and settled in for an afternoon of wonderful tasting food and wine. What's great about this place is that everything is locally sourced (they even brought our tomatoes straight from the garden!) and organically cultivated. They even told us they get the children to squash the grapes with their feet! We tasted some traditional greek salad, cured meats and cheeses - my favourite was the gruyere with honey from their own bee's house - accompanied with fresh bread from the local bakery. It was all mouth wateringly good, made better by the accompanying delicious wine and panoramic countryside views. As much as I love soaking up the sun on the beach, doing something a little different like this was an absolutely lovely way to spend an afternoon. Check out their website here.

Safe to say we left with two more bottles to devour and awoke with slightly sore heads the next morning, but there's nothing like sun and sea to cure a hangover.
