Starry Eyed

. December 15, 2015 .
I think I may have possibly found my ultimate dress of dreams. Glitter star prints, floaty sleeves and a backless cut is definitely a formula for a a special party piece and this number makes me feel like a glam 70's rock & roll princess.

Star print floaty sleeve maxi dress | Caged lace-up shoes  | Dior dupe sunglasses

These incredible Public Desire heels I nabbed off Gemma whilst we were shooting and I'm so glad I did, can you think of a more perfect shoe to go with this dress? The graphic glimpse you see as the hem of the dress floats around your ankle is so beautiful I think I might have to pick up a pair myself!

This glitter-star maxi comes in at £65 which, for a winter-ball-worthy dress I think is pretty good. Asos do, however, have quite a few cosmic-printed star maxi's in at the moment suitable for all budgets! This reclaimed vintage metallic print one comes in at £54, there's also this plunge neck sleeveless number for just £29. Or, if your a little arm-conscious this ditsy-print long sleeve one by Glamorous is just £27 with the most gorgeous lace-up neckline detail.

This is one of the few maxi-length pieces I own, I tend to shy away usually for fear of looking a little swamped or dis-proportioned but this dress has such a flattering cut, nipping in in at the waist and elegantly draping into a full skirt. What's also amazing is that the often difficult open-back, though beautiful, the dress has quite a supportive neck fastening which meant I felt comfortable without a bra when wearing it.

Ok. I am done gushing about this dress. But if you love the look of it or any of the similar styles linked below I urge you not to hesitate, this starry scrap of goodness has been my favourite purchase of the season as is the perfect bit of party wear for any remaining Christmas parties or New Years Eve!
