Lavenham x Fred Perry

. April 30, 2015 .

Quality is always something I look for in a jacket - the right cut, fit and fabric is key. There's been a bomber-jacket shaped hole in my wardrobe for a while now so, when I saw this gorgeous piece on Lavenham's website as part of their collaboration with Fred Perry, I had to get my mitts on it. See more below.

I'm a sucker for British heritage brands, and love the superior country clothing by Lavenham. Though it may not appear I do through my blog images, I actually spend a lot of time in the countryside at my boyfriends family home in Wiltshire, so can appreciate quality in country pieces.

However, you all know I'm a city girl at heart so I opted for the Fred Perry bomber to not only wear for country walks but mix with new pieces from my SS15 wardrobe. The claret coloured quilted fabric makes it so transitional too which is perfect for this time of year.

Lavenham's SS15 collection is full of beautiful quality jackets like this so make sure to check it out on their website here. Inspired by Britain's only desert, the Dungeness, the womenswear collection focused on the inspiration of bloom from the botanic and colourful flowers that are unique to the Dungeness - which also overlooks the White Cliffs of Dover which has influenced the white and cream pieces. Sounds dreamy right?
