My hunt for the perfect pair of overalls (/dungarees) may have come to an end. White denim isn't always the easiest to wear, especially if you're a curvy girl like me. How I've longed to pull off the white skinny jean, and to much avail. So you can imagine the little happy dance I did when trying these on in Topshop. I've had a voucher from the Topshop X Rewards Style event burning a hole in the goody bag for a few weeks now, so wanted to make sure it was well spent. After a couple of shopping sessions spent umming and ahhing over the white Haydens, I spied this beauty hanging in the new in section and to be honest it had me at hello. There were only a few left, and they're almost sold out online too - the term hotcakes definitely comes to mind.
Overallin'
As part of Dorothy Perkins #DPDressSelfie campaign, I've teamed up with them to style up my favourite dress from their current collection. I tend to shy away from light colours that are quite fitted but couldn't resist this gorgeous shade, that and the cute sheer panels completely sold me. The fabric is so comfortable and gives such a lovely fit (although I wish I'd worn spanx) and is so light so it's perfect for summer. I'm also wearing my new New Look mules and just how amazing are they? The mule is the it-shoe this season, and I happened to have a voucher from the New Look press day so decided to buy a pair in each colour, for just £19.99 it'd be rude not to!

That Friday feeling is extra special for me today, I've just handed in my final bit of coursework for this year at Univeristy and couldn't be feeling any more ready for summer. It's been quite a stressful month and I can't wait to fully dedicate myself to my blog again, and hopefully travel some more over the next few months.
This outfit I wore during an (unconventional) bike ride around Hyde Park with Dave on the weekend. It was the first proper bit of sunshine I've been able to enjoy after being so bogged down with Uni work, we took a picnic and ate by this beautiful flower garden near Knightsbridge, which was obviously the perfect spot for shooting my pretty new things. As you can see my henna is lasting pretty well from the Very event, it's so pretty I'm going to dig out the tube I have somewhere and start doing it again.

Lilac
I've been to a fair few events Vinyl Factory, but Very have on some of the best shin-digs with their #veryvip evenings. Last week was their second this year and it certainly did not disappoint. Fruity cocktails and a rack of floral prints really got me in the mood for the summer season (I picked out a gorgeous pinky floral co-ord that I cannot wait to show you guys). A photo booth (of course I deemed it appropriate to sport the coconut bra - cringe), henna tattoos and Nails Inc manicures were all on queue to make it a fun summery evening, big thanks to Very for another lovely event. Being one of the warmer day's we've had recently, I decided to take my canary-yellow Warehouse dress for a spin and layered a palm print scuba crop on top, just in case the yellow wasn't summery enough. Although I took my leather jacket it definitely wasn't needed - two layers of pretty thick synthetics and a very humid London called for a very flustered Lucia, Lizzy and I almost passed out on the tube it was so hot! Never the less, I liked how it balanced this ensemble with my Primark courts (the comfiest pair of pointy pumps you'll find).
PS - Sorry for my erratic posting, Uni has got the better of me but hand in is on Friday and I can't wait to get back into blogging daily & sharing some exciting things I have coming up with you guys, thanks for baring with me <3
