Lashes of London dress* | Primark coat | Nike Flyknit Lunar1's | Zara bag

It was so freezing when these pictures where being taken so excuse the strange facial expressions. Probably not the best day to give my new Lashes of London dress it's first outing but it was burning a hole in my wardrobe and I couldn't resist. I'm at Oxford Circus for some lectures now, and comfy footwear is a must for running around central London. So, naturally I wore my flyknits-that-seem-to-go-with-everything (or more I'm willing them too), I can't get enough of running shoes with smart outfits. For the evening I'd probably pair this dress with my caged heels and a bare leg. That's all for today, I'm totally knackered form running around London street styling for my coursework in my new Topshop slide ons that have have given me a lovely ton of blisters. Be warned- not as comfy as they look, more on that tomorrow.

Vintage leather jacket (similar) | Topshop skirt (same at Missguided) | Primark jumper & nails | Missguided boots*

Going to a fashion orientated university I can get away with dressing up for lectures. I bought this skirt for fashion week last season and adore it, but it's one of those pieces that's quite difficult to wear for day-to-day things. I dressed it down by pairing it with a new knit from Primark, they're only £5 so I picked one up in powder-pink as well.
I was wearing my topshop leather jacket but borrowed my course mate Molly's vintage one for these photos. Isn't it beautiful? I love the silver hardware and perfectly worn leather, it's inspired me to go vintage shop hopping in hope of finding one similar to keep!
My nails are from Primark (again), I don't know what it is about them but I never get bored of the designs. Being away from my Mum's salon in Bristol means doing them myself, and for £1 you can't really go wrong with these, I prep my nails and use a stronger glue than the one in the packet and they last wonderfully.
I'm currently on the train back to London using my phone's hotspot signal- I only found out how to do this the other day, how rubbish a blogger am I?! There may be a shortage of outfit posts this coming week as I've had a bit of a miss-hap with my 50mm lens. And by miss-hap I mean somehow I managed to get a substantial amount of water inside the lens. Totally ruined. Clever Lucia. Time to head to eBay for a replacement.

YDE is a luxury women’s Prêt-à-Porter Brand Based in Copenhagen. These images show their latest collection, they're so beautiful I couldn't wait to share them. The poetic and feminine style of the collection is conceptualised and created by acclaimed Danish designer Ole Yde. Their designs are "geared towards the modern woman with a sense of elegance" with focus on Nordic design and opulent fabrics.
I love the contrast in this collection of delicate pastels apposed to edgier black pieces, and how they're brought together by the careful use of intricate fabrics. YDE is on point with sheer detailingone of my favourite trends for SS14, using just the right amount in each piece- the floral criss-cross detail in the black dress is simply exquisite.
A stand out piece for me is the sunlit-ocean style fabric used on the blouse and skirt in the final image. The ladylike cut of the blouse works wonderfully with the material, this look has made me fall in love with two-pieces just a little bit more.
I hope you enjoyed the collection as much as I did, do check out their website or facebook for more. What's your favourite piece?

I'm not usually one for matching parts of my outfit together, but I couldn't resist teaming my sparkly Cos socks with this new dress from Vesper. Now I know I don't look as incredible as MIC's Lucy Watson does (check her out on the Vesper website, seriously) in my blue and black number but I love the fit of the dress. Granted it doesn't cut me off at the most flattering point, but I think a dress like this is perfect office wear. It's comfortable and the stretchy fabric gives it that great fit, but a pair of spanx wouldn't go a miss to help smooth out any lumps and bumps.
For uni I just wore my trusty Missguided ankle boots and my Primark coat- yes I know I've over-worn it now but it goes with everything so it's become my go-to when I'm not sure what coat to wear. I accessorised with my rings new rings from Asos that I picked up in the sale for £4 and a gold chunky chain.

Missguided coat & dress | Primark shoes (V similar!) | Jasper Conran clutch (in black)

How gorgeous is this Dalmatian print coat from Missguided? The faux fur is so soft... definitely my new favourite piece of outerwear, I desperately needed something to swap my pink coat around for! The dress is from Missguided's PEACE + LOVE collection which I'm absolutely loving, if you're in need of a new season party piece head on over and have a nose.
I'm home in Bristol this weekend so wore this out for drinks on Saturday night, I love the fit and sheer detail on this dress, I'm thinking about wearing it for fashion week.
Hope you've all had a fabulous weekend!

Last Wednesday I was invited along to the Girls season 3 premiere by the babes at Now TV! I took my course mate Jack along with me and we hit the red carpet in Piccadilly. After having some pictures taken we headed into the theatre and grabbed some popcorn, then took our seats and watched the first two episodes of Girls season 3.
I've not watched every episode of Girls but always enjoyed watching them when I could (I don't have a TV at uni!) and I have to say after watching the two from season 3 I've fallen totally head over heels for the show and Lena Dunham herself. I'll be watching them all on my Now TV box shortly! After the screening there was a Q&A with the cast and producer Jenni Konner, where Lena and the cast continued to make the audience laugh. The show's so refreshingly genuine, witty and hilarious- I really admire Dunham for creating and directing such a brilliant show at such a young age.
And not only were the girls brilliant on-screen they also looked so gorgeous at the premier! Lena wore a stunning Erdem white floral dress whilst Allison Williams wore an Alexander McQueen gown and Zosia Mamet in an Elizabetta Franchi jumpsuit.
Afterwards we went on to Cafè de Paris for the after party. We sipped champagne and munched on a huge array of incredible canapés, then had far too much fun in the photo booth and had an awesome portrait done!
Also, NOW TV are excited to announce that viewers will able to catch up on the previous series' and watch the new series of Girls from the 20th of January via NOW TV by signing up for an Entertainment pass, which can be bought here http://www.nowtv.com/entertainment for £4.99 per month.
