3 ways to wear: The Shearling Jacket | Evening

. December 11, 2014 .

The shearling jacket has become a wardrobe staple. Dressed up or down, it's glamorous with an edge, and absolutely perfect for the colder festive season. So, I've teamed up with Intu to bring you guys 3 ways to wear this statement shearling jacket.

I can't even begin to tell you how warm and cosy this jacket is. I've worn it around London a few times now and it seems to be the only thing that stops be freezing to the core. But it's not to heavy either, and as you'll see from these posts you can wear it with just about anything. From Saturday nights out to Sunday walks in the park, it's supremely versatile and quite possibly the most stylish way to stay warm in freezing temperatures.

For an evening out, I styled it with this new navy Pink Soda jumpsuit from Bank. I tend to shy away form dresses as it gets colder, and the beautiful neck detailing on this piece still made it feel party appropriate. But, of course, with something so bare up top I definitely needed the shearling jacket to cover up. I think black and navy together are classic for AW, and I love how the shearling texture off sets the thin spaghetti straps perfectly.

Sling on some nude pumps and a hold-all clutch and I'm ready for a winter evening out on the town. You can get yours over at Intu here, where at the moment there's over 60% off shearling jackets, this particular style is currently £199 down from £599... you are welcome!

Stay tuned for my next two ways to wear, or you can sneak a preview at them on Intu's feature here.
