First Night In Paris

. October 14, 2014 .

Now usually I’m all about shooting my outfits on the street, but couldn’t resist doing one in our Parisian apartment. It was so adorable, surprisingly spacious for Paris and the décor was so on point I thought about moving in full time. You did us good Air B&B. This is what I wore to our first show at PFW, click below for more and images from the show!

Our first show of Paris Fashion Week wasn’t until the evening, so we spent the day wandering through the sunny Tuileries and exploring our local area by Canal Saint Martin – a welcome break from running in heels between shows and appointments!

Come 6pm it was time to go back and get ready for the Gosia Baczynska show. As it was our first night in Paris, I decided to go all out. This gorgeous feather bolero is from Topshop. Lizzy kindly gave it to me on our last trip to Paris, so it was an apt piece to choose, and I definitely didn’t get cold either! I teamed it with these gorgeous new Lavish Alice culottes from Bank, red snakeskin pumps and my beloved new Aigner bag.

The show itself was held in the Polish Embassy which was breathtakingly beautiful and made for the perfect venue for the Gosia Baczynska SS15 collection. Inspired by the designers obsession with Henry Miller’s ’11 commandments’, triggering her to rethink the very process of creation. Baczynska’s favourite quotes and words are actually transferred onto blouses, skirts and dresses. Experimental pleats, woven lace and structured tops gave the collection an air of deconstructed decadence. A beautiful start to our PFW journey!
