Nothing like sunny french photos to depress you on a rainy London day. Before heading to the A. F. Vandevorst show during PFW, we took advantage of the glorious Parisian sunshine and headed to the Arc du Triomphe. Just look at that view. Click below to see more about one of my favourite shows this season.

The AF Vandevorst collection was one of my absolute favourites this season. There was an air of such unique beauty, parachute-silk couture type gowns were contrasted with utilitarian pieces yet the collection never failed to be feminine at any point. Ethereal looking models glided through clouds of dry ice onto the catwalk to the most hypnotic soundtrack, I have to give it to designers An Vandevorst and Filip Arickx; they certainly know how to captivate an audience. Flashes of vibrant orange brightened the otherwise muted palette with boiler-suit type dresses and parachute inspired pieces. A stand out piece for me was a gown made entirely from small spotted feathers, I didn't manage to snap a picture myself but you can see it along with more photos from the collection on Style.com here. What do you think? I was so impressed, refreshingly unique yes still classically beautiful - job well done A. F. Vandevorst.
