Rock Sunset

. July 21, 2014 .

Every year I return to a little haven that is Cornwall, and this time around we’ve been blessed with the most gorgeous weather. So of course, heading to the beach to shoot my outfit, as the sunset over Rock harbour was the first thing to do upon arrival.

Topshop jacket & vest | Lavish Alice culottes* | Daniel Footwear sliders | Zara bag

My brother shot these for me, he’s doing photography for his A Level’s and I’m so impressed with how these turned out, he’s pretty good no? This ensemble I wore for dinner on the first night. I’ve had to give myself a break from my Lavish Alice culottes for fear of severely over-wearing them so I’m happy to have them on once more. They’re a great summer trouser, and although it was a casual 25 degrees and 7pm that evening they kept me cool. Whilst the jacket wasn’t so great for that, I love the look of it in the sun. Doing the coat-as-a-cape seemed the best way to wear leather in the heat. I teamed the look with my Zara bag (which is the only one I’ve brought with me, so you’ll be seeing a lot of it in the next few posts, sorry) and Daniel sliders as to keep from looking totally mono toned. Hope you’re all enjoying this out-of-character 30 degrees English weather as much as I am.
