Birthday Suit

. March 18, 2014 .
1st outfit: Damart coat* | New Look dress (worn as top) | Lavish Alice culottes* | Whistles slip ons | Vintage Bag
2nd outfit: Topshop top (similar) | River Island jeans | Zara Mules and bag

The 17th of March is what everyone knows as St. Patricks day, but as well as a day for the Irish Saint it's also my Birthday. Apart from being a little sad at the fact I'm no longer a teenager, turning 20 has brought one of the best birthdays I can remember.
I spent the weekend in London and some friends from Bristol came down to visit, so it was great to have all my faves together for a couple of days. On friday Dave took me shopping for my birthday presents, and I was very spoiled indeed. These Whistles pony-skin slip on's where one of them, new favourite things in the world. My friends arrived later on and we went for cocktails then a big group of us went out for dinner to my favourite little italian in Notting Hill, Sugos, then on to No 5 Cavendish Square to party for the rest of the night. Saturday I was nursing a little hangover, but a few of us headed down to Southbank where there was a cute little food festival on, queue some more amazing italian food! On Sunday the sun was really outdoing herself, so we headed down to Hyde Park for a picnic before I headed back to Bristol to spend my birthday with my family.
These photos are from my actual Birthday which I spent the majority of in Bath. I wore some of my birthday presents, including a gorgeous vintage bag from my nan, with some of my favourite spring-pieces, fully embracing the sunshine of course. Starting the morning in the amazing Bath Therme Spa, lunching at the Boathouse and having a good old wander through the sunny streets of Bath, before having a quick change then heading out to dinner at Aqua in Bristol. And if you're heading there I'd seriously recommend the Lobster Ravioli.. Oh my. For Dinner I took my new Zara Mules and for their first outing, I've certainly done well on the shoe and bag front this year!
PS- Please excuse the bare face, I couldn't really be bothered with make-up after the spa, and I've also lost my Naked 2 palette- heartbreaking.
I'll be doing a post on all my wonderful presents soon. Big thank you's to all my gorgeous friends and family for making my birthday extra special, and to all my lovely followers that wished me a happy birthday. <3

  1. Belated happy birthday! It was my sister's birthday yesterday too. :)

Also, commiserations on losing your makeup palette – I misplaced a whole makeup bag containing by favourite compact, mascara, nail polish and Touche Éclat at London Fashion Week and I've been sore about it ever since!
