Primark coat & speckle jumper (sale) | HM beige jumper (sale) | Topshop beanie (sale) | Nike Flyknit Lunar1

So tomorrows the last day of 2013, it'd totally flewn by. With lot's of ups and downs *deep breath* including celebrating my last 'teen' birthday, going to London Fashion Week, celebrating a year with my boyfriend, finishing an internship, briefly interning at the New York Times Global, managing my mum's shop, going to some beautiful places including Majorca, Cornwall and Marbella, getting glandular fever (not so beautiful), moving to London, going to London Fashion Week again, starting BA Fashion Journalism at LCF, going to lots of events, parties and press day's and finishing my first term at uni. And after some much-needed time at home with my nearest and dearest these past couple of weeks, it's been a pretty good year, I'll be sad to see you go 2013, but I can't wait to see what 2014 brings.
I've spent the last few days at Dave's with his family, it's still pretty cold so I wrapped up in a couple of my warm buys from the sales and teamed them with my beautiful new Nike's c/o the boyfriend! I've been thoroughly spoiled this Christmas, a present haul post is on it's way.
Happy New Year to all of my gorgeous readers! x

Goodbye December

A short while ago New Look sent me a lovely stocking full of festive treats including this beautiful Christmas jumper. It's so warm and has the cutest design, just look at those pom poms! I wore it for my flat Christmas dinner and I'm sure it will make an appearance on Christmas day itself, but for now I'm wearing it most evenings to help me get in the festive spirit.
New look are still taking orders online until Sunday 22nd at 2pm for Christmas delivery- so if you're still looking for the perfect Christmas jumper or a last minute gift then head over to their website or pop in store to get your gifts before Christmas. Only five sleeps to go now!

Feeling Festive with New Look!

I can't believe these were taken a month ago, November and December have flewn by! This was on a trip to Kew Gardens with my mum and nan when my family came to London to celebrate my nan's 90th birthday. We had such a lovely weekend, took nan on the London eye and to see The Jersey Boy's in the west end and then on the Saturday we took a trip to Kew. My nan's always wanted to go here, and after my first visit I could certainly see why. It's such an enchanting place, thousands of beautiful plants and trees in amongst huge, decadent Vicorian green houses.
It was a really chilly day so I wrapped up warm in layers and a hat and scarf, which is actually Boohoo men's- me being the clever one that picked up the men's goody bag at the Boohoo Dressmas party haha. My vest (which you can only see a little of) is my pick from the Isabel Marant pour HM collection, I was lusting after the black and white big knit jumper but I love the print and shape of the vest so I'm happy with my little piece from the amazing collaboration.
Less than a week now until I'm back in Bristol, I can't wait to see my family and friends and I've almost finished all my Christmas shopping (earliest ever for me!) so I'm looking forward to just chilling out for a couple of weeks. Hope you're all feeling festive, until next time! x

Kew Gardens

I've teamed up with the babes at Missguided to bring you a 'Get Ready With Me' post, right in time for the party season. Below is how I get ready for a night out, from my favourite bits of make-up to my favourite tipple and above, the finished result. After I've showered I start with my make-up, my urban decay Naked2 pallet and MUA's highlighter are a must for a night out. I use my portable Nude Move M speaker (which is super loud) whilst I'm getting ready, Friday nights choice of tune was Drake. Always at the ready is a glass of Ogio's Pino Grigio blush to help me get in the swing of things.
After putting a few curls in my hair with my Diva styling wand I'm good to get dressed, and now on to my party picks from Missguided! They have an beautiful range of party gear at the moment, I'm particularly loving the dresses as well as what I chose. If you know me you know I love matchy-matchy things so this metallic skort and top are perfect party pieces for me. I teamed them with these glossy black chunky boots to tie in with the black trim on the skort, and what's great is that they're so comfy- I'll be able to dance all night. To keep me warm on these cold winter evenings I chose this faux-hair pastel beauty which looks divine against the silver brocade fabric, and matches the hue of the Henry Holland nails down to a tee. Throw on a slinky velvet box bag and I'm good to go!
Hope you enjoyed my first get ready with me post xo

Get Ready With Me & Missguided!

As part of the #smart21 campaign I've teamed up with them to give you all a little city guide of my hometown, Bristol- another city in which you can take part in their competition

These are just a few of my favorite hot-spots and things to do if you're in Bristol. First up, shopping. Bristol is actually great for shopping, whether it's in the little boutiques on Park Street and in Clifton or the huge shopping centers you're spoiled for choice. I spend most of my shopping time in Cabot Circus, right in the center of the city. It has every high street store you need, and if that's not enough across the road is Quakers Frias and you've got Harvey Nicholls, Allsaints, Reiss etc along with a couple of lovely restaurants and cafes.

A short walk from Cabot Circus is Bristol's harbourside. Along with the buzz of many restaurants and bars is an exhibition center, the M Shed. There's always something great to see there- when I last went it was The National Gallery's portrait prize which featured some amazing pieces.

Now with all that shopping and gallery hopping, you're going to be in need of a good lunch, right? My absolute favorite place to eat is Aqua Italia. I've missed it so much living in London (you can only find them in Bristol and Bath), I used to go there weekly with my girlfriends. The food is always topnotch, my personal recommendation is the Lobster Ravioli or Tuna steak salad.

If you're looking for a good pamper, head to I Candy Beauty & Boutique, located in the heart of the city. Browse their eclectic range of gifts and garments then head upstairs and choose from their large range of beauty treatments, I always go for the Guinot Hydradermie facial!

Next up, The Avon Gorge Hotel and White Lion bar. In the garden you can look right over Bristol suspension bridge and into the estuary and clifftops. It's a real hidden gem, separating the busy city to such a vast and beautiful landscape. I usually pop in here for afternoon tea in the Hotel's cafe or for a drink in the white lion pub after a long day at work.

Now no city guide would be complete without a cocktail stop. With a gorgeous menu of each and every exotic cocktail you can think of, Browns is the place to be. My fave if the Passionfruit Daiquiri, and Sunday to Thursday they're half price- what more could a girl want?!

I hope you enjoyed my little guide to Bristol, do any of you live there too? Where are your favorite spots?
