Motel Rocks Medusa dress/ Primark camel coat/ Jasper Conran purse clutch/ Vogue trend magazine/ Jeffery Campell Cleata boots/ Marc by Marc Jacobs Watch

Not your everyday Medusa hey? Less snakes and more accessories is how I decided to wear the  Motel Rocks Medusa dress. I've wanted this baby for ages- it was originally going to be my NYE dress but didn't buy it due to insufficient funds in my poor little bank account. So, obviously I was   delighted to find it in the sample sale at Motel HQ last week for only £10 (mwahaha). I also bought another LWD (little white dress) along with some other bits and bobs which I am yet to show you lovely lot, I am fully embracing the SS13 whites trend! I wore this outfit to my UCA interview last Thursday (still waiting for the result eek!) but swapped the Cleatas for Creepers in fear of my nerves actually knocking me over. This Vogue trend book that came with either the Jan/Feb issue was brilliant for brushing up on my favourite trends and designers to talk about, I can probably re-site it cover to cover now haha. These photo's were shot by some houses along the road by Clifton Suspension Bridge (you bristolians will know where), they're so beautiful with the big coloured doors and pretty balcony's, I hope one day to be rich enough to live in one! And talking of the residents I happened to park right next to a door that Carol Vorderman walked out of! She did look at me a little oddly jumping out of the car with my SLR, safe to say I didn't pap her. I hope you're all having a lovely week and looking forward to the end of Jan- it's been a cold, wet and stressful month!

Finally! I own a pair Motel Rocks striped Jordans, and my god do I love them. I've been umming and ahhing over these since they first time they came out, worried that they would suit me because lets face it my legs are on the chunky side haha. What's great about the stripes though is you can twist them and create curves or make them look more streamlined. Last week brought a lot of new clothes and packages in the post so I have lots of lovely new things to show you all- this jumper being one of them! I've had my eye on Sin Star clothing for a while- their designs are so unique and cool. I'm also a fan of their Tee's, I think I'll be ordering one in the near future! I just happened to pair these two together in the process of trying on my new gear and fell in love with how the colours complimented eachother- how gorgeous is that dripping gold Chanel sign? One of my jobs at my internship with Motel before Christmas was to create the 'BFF Boxes' and find lots of lovely goodies to go inside them- Empty Casket jewellery being one of them! The babes at Motel HQ gave me one for Christmas and this moon necklace was the piece I got inside and I love love love it. Until next time ladies!

Oh My Love dress*/ Jack Wills sunglasses/ Zara jacket/ Topshop rings/ Marc Jacobs watch/ New Look creepers.

Hello beautifuls :) Sorry for my lack of posting this week- it's been a very stressful one! On thursday I had my interview at UCA University for Fashion Journalism. After nearly having a nervous break down the day finally came, it went a lot better than I thought so cross you fingers for me ladies! Appologies for the weird shut-eyes in the last photp- I kinda look like a cat napping in the sun don't I? Haha, it was a good close up of the dress so had to go in! Today I've had a lovely day in Clifton with my Mumma taking some photo's for my blog. As last week proved it's so hard to get some good photo's in the daylight so today I decided to take with me the outfits I've worn this week so I could show you all my lovely new things! I can't thank Oh My Love enough for sending me this beauty- I've had it for a little while now and I've been waiting so long to wear it because of the snow! Although a lot of people would class it as quite a 'dressy' dress I think it's so versatile- for lunch I paired it with my biker jacket and creepers for a more laid-back look. I'm also planning to wear it out in the week with some strappy wedges and a red lip- keep your eye on my instagram @luciagrace. This dress has now also been to reduced to just £12 down from £45 in the Oh My Love sale- go go go! Hope you're all having a good weekend- stay tuned I have lots of lovely outfit posts coming your way.

Topshop blanket cape/ Motel Rocks top/ vintage Levi's/ Hunter wellies/ M&S Gloves/ DIY hamsa necklace

Brr it's chilly! I hope you've all been enjoying the beautiful white weather. And before you all shout at me for not wearing enough I just had to show you my new Motel wrap crop! I've got a real thing for v-necks at the moment and this top is so comfy and wearable with anything high-waisted. I'm also wearing my much loved but never worn blanket cape from Topshop. I bought it a couple of years ago when I was going through a must-buy-anything-aztec phase, and I should really wear it more often and after seeing how nicely it drapes in these photos I think I will! Its so warm so the snow seemed like the perfect excuse to wear it. I wore my Levi's jeans because the high-waist goes with my top, and they're made of such a thick denim so kept my legs super-warm in the snow. Initially I wore my Lita's for these photos then swapped them for my Hunters after realising how silly I looked teetering about in 6inches of snow in 7inch heels, and lets face its nice to wear your Hunters for something other than festivals! Any way I hope everyone who's had some snow is enjoying it- I was lucky enough to get work off so I've had a lovely 'chilled' day. (ok awful joke I know)

Hi guys! As you can see I have been indulging in the ever fabulous Topshop sale, or rather I was treated by my lovely nan on a shopping trip last week! The top was £12 but I got it a little cheaper because there was a mark on it (that came straight off in the wash) and the trousers were £15, As soon as I tried them on together I knew they were a match made in clothes heaven. If you follow my twitter you may know that on Friday I went down to London and interned for a day at the New York Times Global (International Herald Tribune) in the fashion section! So, I wanted to find something smart to wear that still suited my style, these trousers seemed the perfect fit. On the day I paired them with my new JW Anderson jumper (also courtesy of the Topshop sale!) and a crisp white shirt underneath, then wore this peplum for drinks afterwards. My job was to plan the schedule for fashion editor Suzy Menkes for her trip to Milan for Men's Fashion week. I had such a great day and learnt so much about what goes into planning for fashion week; shows, presentations, parties the lot! I was also chatting on the phone to of the likes of Burberry, Gucci and Prada which was pretty surreal in itself. Hopefully I'll be returning to do some more work in the spring which is very exciting! I've also included a little instagram update, my username is @luciagrace :)

Love at first sight/ breakfast/ topshop rings/ Dior sample/ ootd/ package from oh my love-post coming soon!

This is a picture of my friend Georgia, a photo I took for my photography A Level back in early 2012. This is a different sort of post for me, but an important one at that. Georgia is about to run the Bath Half Marathon and is looking for sponsorship in aid of an amazing charity 'Send A Cow'

Send A Cow charity have been helping thousands of African families and orphans grow enough food to eat, sell their produce and develop small businesses that last. Providing livestock, seeds, training and ongoing support, we help families leave poverty behind for good.

It's a wonderful charity, just £5 can provide two goats for a family. After visiting Kenya, Georgia said she was left 'wanting to help' and after watching this video I can see why Send A Cow is her chosen charity.

So if any of my lovely readers feel they would like to sponsor Georgia, please head over to http://www.justgiving.com/Georgia-Collier and donate what you can.

Primark earings/ H&M Blazer/ Motel Vintage denim vest/ Daniel Wellington Watch*/ M&S crop/ American Apparel leggings/ New Look Creepers/ La Moda bag*

Hello angels! Hope you're all having an okay Monday so far. Thought I'd update you all with an outfit post, seem's its been ages since I've done one of these babies! I went for a laid-back look today as I'm just working from home and running errands and I've worn this outfit quite a few times recently so thought I'd share it with you guys! My hair also looks a bit of  mess, going for a straight/bed-hair-just-roll-with-it kinda day. I practically live in my AA leggings when I'm at home- they're so comfy and the spandex sheen makes them easy to dress up or down so I can wear them anywhere. I've had this denim vest for a couple of years now but I've only just started wearing it a lot recently after discovering how well it goes with my M&S crop!
Also I've had a couple of fabulous new additions to my accessory collection! I've had my eye on the Daniel Wellington watches for a while after seeing them circulate the blogosphere so was delighted to be sent one for review. I went for the Glasgow Lady- a rose gold frame with a navy and white strap, I think their watches are just so simple and classic you can't really go wrong with them. They've also given me a 15% off discount code to use for my readers, just enter ''Style'' at danielwellington.com until the end of January!
Also how fabulous is my new studded harley bag from La Moda? I'm so happy with it, I'm such a stud-freak as it is so the Harley is my perfect match. Its also got a long shoulder strap and numerous pockets inside which are super-handy if your a gal that carries your life around in your handbag like me.
I also want to say a hello to all my lovely new followers, you've all come out of no where this past week! I'm enjoying looking through some of your lovely new blogs to read. Until next time! x

Laid Back

. January 03, 2013 .

Hello my lovelies. Happy new year first of all, I hope you all had a good one! As I mentioned in my last post I'll be doing a series of Benefit beauty posts following the amazing amount of it I got for Christmas (lucky girl!). I'm starting with the 'She's so Jetset' make-up kit, inside you get a primer, set of shadows, face powder, lipgloss and a mascara, a really good selection for one make-up kit I think. The set comes with a great how-to guide on how to get certain looks, and although I usually like to do my own thing when it comes to make-up but I found the eye tutorial especially really good.
I went for the daytime look in this picture, starting with the base I used the Porefessional primer, mainly on my problem areas: my t-zone and chin area. Porefessional its great for giving you a smooth and even canvas to work on. The foundation I used is Revlon Photoready in Natural Beige. I also used Benefit's 'Stay Don't Stray' around my eye area and over blemishes, its really a primer for shadows and concealers but works well as a concealer alone.
I then used the First-Class face powder accross the apples of my cheeks, lighter side above, for a subtle glow. For my eyes I went for the 'daytime look'. For the base I covered my entire lid with 'champagne please' then worked 'pretty in mink'  into the creases of the lid and used a bit of 'gold card' in the inner corners.
Finally I applied the gloss to my lips, its a gorgeous colour but is a little sticky so be sure to use a good amount of balm before applying this one, then last of all the ever-amazing 'their real!' mascara, its always been a favourite mascara of mine for a while now- if you haven't tried it yet girls you are missing out! The photo came out a little over-exposed so doesn't entirely do it justice but I hope my description has given you all the jist. Next up is the Cabana Glama set!

Also something else I'd like to share with you guys are a couple of articles I did for Whatson Bristol Magazine, some of you may know I do the odd bit of free-lancing here and there and this is something I made for Whatson's January issue, let me know what you think!
