My second Cornwall photo diary to date! About a week ago I returned home from a lovely little holiday with my family down in cornwall. We decided to explore a new part around The Lizard and Mullion, I'll always love Rock, Polzeath and Padstow but it was so nice to actually see another side to Cornwall. We ended up in an amazing hotel by fluke! The company that we originally booked our accommodation with actually rang us up the morning we were going (car fully packed ready to go etc) to tell us there was a problem with our caravan and it had been removed from the site. Pretty crap right? We couldn't even change the week as we'd all booked off work and arranged care for my Nan and even booked theatre tickets and things for the area! After a few hours of trawling through Cornish hotel websites and many unsucessful phone calls I finally found The Mullion Cove. They allowed dogs and had rooms available for a family of four for the week... at triple the price. Seeing that it was our only option the original caravan company actually paid the difference, and we managed to bag ourselves this beautiful hotel for the week! I'm now a strong believer of you don't ask you don't get and that everything happens for a reason.

We had the most crazy breakfasts each day at the hotel, I took a picture of a couple, before heading out on long coastal walks and exploring some really beautiful parts of Cornwall. On a couple of the rainy days we discovered this gorgeous little art gallery where we attended a couple of workshops, painting one day and glass jewelry making the next, it was so fun to get in touch with my creative side, mum and I actually bought some of the paints on our last day to do some more at home! We also had a day at the Minack open air theatre which was incredible, it over looks the sea around some beautiful beaches and coves- we even saw a couple of seals frolicking about in the water during the performance! I also had a go driving a boat around St Ives harbour for the first time which was really fun! We had such a lovely time and I'd definitely go back to that side of Cornwall.

Aside from having a lovely time I was actually a bit ill in Cornwall which has got progressively worse over the past week or two. I got some blood test results back yesterday and it turns out I've got glandular fever. FABULOUS. So as a result I'm moving to London in 11 days and don't a thing organised- I'm praying it decides to disappear in time for Fashion Week! Saying that I do feel a little brighter today so I think I'm going to take myself stationary shopping haha.
