As some of you may know, a week ago today I turned the grand old age of 19.   This post is a little late but I  thought  I'd share  with you  all some of my  wonderful new presents and snaps from my day. I was thoroughly spoilt by my boyfriend, family and friends and had a really lovely time.

My Nan got me the beautiful Swarovski necklace; I've been lusting after a circle-pendant necklace after seeing the Hortense on mega blogger babes Chiara and Rumi. So when I spotted this sparkly delight in the Swarovski cabinet on a shopping trip with my Nan, I couldn't resist trying it on. I've worn it everyday since, I'm so lucky to have such a generous Nanny <3. My boyfriend seems to be very good at getting me exactly what I want without letting on, when I hinted at a Links bracelet he said it was 'too expensive and boring' haha; little did I know he was going to order it for me, along with those gorge paisley dungarees! I didn't actually see this one on the website, so it was a really lovely surprise. I think the mixture of mini silver links and navy rope make it so wearable for any occasion, and it sits so nicely next to my MJ watch; I'm getting quite a nice little collection of wrist-wear thanks to him! My parents and brother got me the clothes I've been after for ages. The (lookalike!) Kenzo jumper, the Motel palm print jeans and net dress and also a voucher for teeth-whitening which I can't figgin wait to use! As I mentioned before my best friend Milly works for Benefit (I'm forever telling her to make a beauty blog) so I did very very well on the make-up front. I received lots of other lovely things that I havent yet managed to photograph and also received birthday money so stay tuned for a post on some new things I've bought with it (incl a Rihana for River Island maxi!).

On the day the sun decided to make a little appearance so we decided to take a trip to Bristol Zoo, I forgot how much fun it is to stare at weird and wonderful animals all day, and clearly I am far to entertained with the children's attractions. I have to say the monkey's are probably my favorite though- I mean seriously jusst LOOK at that face (see below!). After the zoo we took a trip to (one of my all time faves) the Avon Gorge hotel & bar for some drinks just as the sun was setting, those of you that know Bristol will know just how gorgeous the area is- looking right over the suspension bridge. We finished the day by having a lovely meal in Prezzo complete with a humongous chocolate birthday cake, thanks to boyfriend's sister! I had such great day followed by a night out with my friends in the week, so a massive thanks to everyone who made it an amazing birthday.

(what I'm wearing) HM beanie (old)/ Primark coat/ Mistral top/ Motel Rocks jeans/ New Look creepers/ Jack Wills sunnies/ Vintage bag
