Hello lovelies :) Sorry its been a little while since I last posted! Last weekend I went to Creamfields festival and it was absolutely amazing! I saw some insane acts live, and had the best time with my friends regardless of the last day being cancelled. Have a look at my instagram for some more photos, although I will shortly be doing a post on Creamfields and festival outfits! So as I've been missing the Creamfields I decided to wear a festival inspired outfit out for dinner last night. I bought these shorts just before I went and ended up wearing them everyday! I paired it with a simple Reiss vest to keep it casual but gave the outfit an edge by wearing my new leather jacket. I say new, its more second hand, and a very very lucky find! Some of you may have heard that the last day of the festival was cancelled due to weather conditions, and with that hundreds of campers up and left leaving most of their tents, sleeping bags, and wet things behind. Me and my friends stayed the extra night (and actually had an amazing time still) and I went to move an abandoned tent away from ours to find this beautiful jacket! It had been left with a tent and sleeping bag but had no more than a few splashes of mud on it that came straight away with a face wipe. I was so happy to find it and it kept me very warm and dry on the last day, also its from one of my favourite shops Zara, so I was an extremely happy bunny to say the least! Now its had a wash and is as good as new I can't keep it off, its a classic piece and fits right into my wardrobe. Let me know if any of you have done posts on festivals/ festival outfits, I'd love to see!

Vest - Reiss
Sunglasses - Ray Ban
Jacket - Zara
Shorts - Vintage Levis @ Urban Outfitters

edit: PS: The girls that left the jacket spent hours getting ready, fake lashes, extensions, caked make-up etc, (at a festival) so i think that it was left intentionally because of the (small) amounts of mud/teeny bit of damp so i dont think she wanted it any longer!
PPS: I've just noticed I look the same colour as my garage. awesome.

Recently my best friend went to Morocco and she was lovely enough to bring me back these awesome little presents! She knows I love the Hamsa hand and little trinkets and charms so these gifts were perfect. I also happened to be in dire need of a new pair of earrings for fear of my holes actually closing over, and these are so pretty and the perfect size for my small ears and are so wearable, I haven't taken them off since. I also popped the keyring charm on a chain because I loved it so much and it looks so nice worn round the neck. The bracelet's also really cool and fits nicely with the collection on my wrist. I'm a lucky girl and have some lovely new jewellery additions. If you're wondering what the background is its one of those cool bags the Topshop on Oxford Street give you!

Well as you all know from my last post I've recently been on holiday to Cornwall, and the place I was staying is situated near a lovely little place called Rock, and Rock is home to one of the amazing Jack Wills stores. When I was a little younger, I was a total die-hard Jack Wills fan, getting every single nick-nack down to the tissues in my Christmas stocking, going to the polo (got my picture in the catalogue there!) and actually painting my wall with the pink and blue stripes! Rock is actually the first place I ever saw & bought something form jack wills (be it a pair of £10 pants haha) so I always love coming back there. They've recently refurbished the shop and moved to a bigger spot next door and I have to say I loved it. Jack Wills stores are always that little bit more special as they feel more like a vintage holiday home than a retail shop, with the stacks of old books and picture frames dotted around the place as well as the quirky bits of furniture. My favourite part of this store was a neon pink light in the shape of stag antlers.

Anyway onto my bargain purchases! On my first visit I actually just ran in for some lip-balm before a walk but then discovered all the make-up had been reduced to crazy cheap prices so ended up buying a few bits. Firstly I got the Oakland Lip Gloss in Pale Pink, I always wear pale colours and minimal make-up on my lips so I thought this would be ideal for day to day wear. It gives your lips a brilliant shine and the tiny glitter particles give them a lovely sparkle, but the fact this is combines with the neutral tone makes it very wearable.

As I said before, I always tend to wear pale colours on my lips so thought as it was on sale I'd try something new. With my blonde hair I'm always afraid really bright colours will make me look a little barbie-ish so decided to go for the Summerston Lipstick in Wine. I was really pleasantly surprised with this, I didn't expect it to suit me but because the colour is darker, it makes it more subtle but still adds some colour. It also happens to smell absolutely gorgeous, as well as staying in place and leaving my lips feeling very moisturised, so I would definitely recommend these lipsticks, and the Wine shade is a nice colour to carry into autumn.

My last make-up purchase was the Keston Long Lash Mascara. It has a small brush so takes a bit of applying but after a few coats I was really pleased with the outcome. The liquid itself actually has small fibres (if you look close enough at the picture you'll see) in it that cling on to your own lash during application and really makes them look a lot longer.

As for my beautiful new Holcombe Sunglasses, I absolutely adore them. I was so excited to see that they were reduced from £79 to £24 so decided to treat myself. Its about time I got round to owning a decent pair instead of knock-off Ray Bans and Primark shades! I really like half-frame glasses, I think they frame the face nicely and give any outfit a little retro twist. I chose cream as it brings out the light parts in my hair and looks good with my current tan. They were so nicely packaged I haven't actually taken them out of the box to wear yet, but I'm sure they will soon feature in a future post!

Hope you guys enjoyed my first (part) beauty post! I've really enjoyed writing it so i'm sure there will be more to come.
